To create this collection, we canvassed the vast country of China, looking for photographers who are "local", those with intimate knowledge of their surroundings, their people and their culture. Being local, they have unfettered access and opportunities to get the most incredible imagery of the diverse peoples and places of China. These are most certainly not the typical photographs shot by Western travelers and/or tourists, "guai low" as they are called in China, from their tour buses.
